Our Turtle Conservation Program in Africa offers a hands-on experience where participants actively contribute to the protection and rehabilitation of endangered sea turtles. Here’s what you can expect when you join us:

Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation
Expect to work closely with marine conservationists at renowned sanctuaries like Baraka Natural Aquarium and Mnarani Marine Turtles Conservation Pond in Zanzibar and several others were you will assist in rescuing injured turtles, caring for those affected by pollution and fishing nets, and ensuring their safe return to the ocean.

Hatchling Release & Nest Monitoring
Witness the magical moment of baby turtles hatching and making their way to the sea. Help monitor nesting sites, protect eggs from predators, and participate in annual turtle release events—an experience that’s both emotional and rewarding.

Beach Clean-Ups & Marine Conservation
Engage in hands-on sustainability efforts by taking part in coastal clean-ups to reduce plastic pollution, one of the biggest threats to marine life. Learn about eco-friendly waste disposal and how regenerative tourism plays a role in ocean conservation.

Für Buchungen: Unsere Programmkoordinatoren machen die Buchung der Lernreise sehr einfach. Wir kümmern uns in Ihrem Namen um die erforderlichen lokalen Genehmigungen und alle notwendigen Anforderungen und Dienstleistungen für Transport, Unterkunft und Aktivitäten, und es gelingt uns selten, Genehmigungen zu einem angemessenen Buchungstermin zu sichern.
Unsere Programmkoordinatoren werden dann mit Ihnen zusammenarbeiten, um die Lernsafari nach Ihrem Geschmack, Ihrem Reisezweck und Ihrem Reisestil zu gestalten und Sie in das lokale soziale, kulturelle, unternehmerische und wildlebende Ökosystem Afrikas eintauchen zu lassen.
